Um....

Looks like someone is thoroughly enjoying the fruits of my labor...



That's Gunner, he's been enjoying my new chair more that I have this past week! (And no, you don't see a tail since he's a Manx, that's part of the breed...like a little black bear!)

just a side note....

So does it look like this little cat missed me at all? As soon as I emptied the suitcase he was in it.



And here he is about an hour ago...snuggled up on my lap as I was working. He rarely sits on me, let alone sleep & snuggle for hours!



So I guess he missed me. :)

this is what i'm dealing with today...

okay, anyone who has a cat knows that they have this incredible sense of where they shouldn't be and my cat, gunner, is no exception to this rule. as a matter of fact he actually epitomizes this rule perfectly!

here's the back story. i'm trying to take some photographs of these new earrings to send to someone for a silent auction and for my website too. my workspace isn't all that big and when i set up my light box and lights there is absolutely NO space whatsoever. so i'm getting up close and trying different shots when i hear this sound from my right side. here he comes, under my chin (as i'm actually taking a photograph!) and in he goes.





oh, he sure is cute, but right on top of my work! and then he starts clawing at the walls:


he got the squirt bottle for sure...now here he is just a few minutes later:



trouble sleeps....

new office supplies

there are so many crafty minds out there in the world its absolutely inspiring! new ideas and techniques are popping up all over the place...so here's something that i admittedly didn't pioneer, but instead have developed to fit into my tasty world.



they are those cute little binder clips embellished with tasty graphics. this set of 12 comes in a super cute metallic tin with see thru lid and a magnet on the back to be able to hang off the side of your filing cabinet. i also have large size clips in a set of 6. look for them on the website soon.

and here's a pic of my studio helper, gunner, he's my little manx cat that loves to hang around when i'm designing. i love him.
